Summary0009333: Experimental Starship - Lightning Torpedo Cruiser
DescriptionBecause we need more experimentals.

Starship spawns a long-range missile that explodes into major electric blast on impact. Blast acts like a turret or electric shuttle, i.e 200 max targets, hits multiple times if less than that. Can be shot down, if possible only explodes if it actually connects.

Ship has a few weak but long-ranged missiles for self-defense. Should fare very badly versus combat starships on its own. Most of its power is dropping area blasts at very long range.

my thoughts on stats for this ship;


Stats:
Cap: 4
Speed: 36
Health: 1,000,000mk
Armor: 100,000mk
Hull: command-grade
Ammo:Tactical Armored Lightning Warhead
Damage: 160,000mk
Reload: 1 minute, can only fire 1 once per 2 seconds per planet(AI might not have this penalty/buff)
Armor Piercing: 0
Range: 25000 +1000mk -/+5000
Energy: 8000
Build Time: 5 minutes
Abilities: NUKES! Causes +1AIP on death of frigate(human frigates only). when out of supply the AI knows they are vulnerable and after a 15 minute countdown sends waves against the planet/s the frigates are on. Warheads are countered by anti missile and warhead measures. Nukes cause friendly fire. can not load in transport.
Immunities: aoe, fusion cutters, speed boost, antimatter bombs, tractor beams, engine damage, paralysis

Um, bones, how about NO. This thing is supposed to be a standoff aoe attacker, not a bizarre super-weapon.

But they don't get used, and superwapons should only show up from game options or the missile factory. This thing is meant as an experimental starship. So please, don't try to turn my idea into something else entirely.
