Summary0009384: Tack traps don't work consistently.
DescriptionI'm not entirely sure how to consistently repro this, but, I've now seen enemies walk over placed tack traps without being damaged at least twice. I've gone back through the levels to make sure it wasn't because they were strong baddies and just took two hits, that's not the case here.

Do you mean tacks, or the spikes in the background?

Sorry, tacks.

Can you confirm if you're still seeing this? A lot has changed, and I have yet to see this.

This one was reported by Josh, not me. I think I used to see it, but if so it's been a long time.

I hate to reopen an issue as ancient as this, but I saw it with my own eyes. A Gray walked across a tile containing tacks (though not in the center of it) and was unharmed. Only when I baited it to walk back across did it hit the center and die.

I wonder if this is related to the recent framerate changes you've made?

Next time if you can hit F4, you can see if their collision boxes actually overlap. If not, there's no problem here.

This is probably possible to happen if your framerate is such that the grays are literally seeming to jerk and jump around periodically; are you seeing that, or do they move smoothly?

This is resolved as of a couple of days ago. It was checking for the central tiles the two were on, rather than just checking distance. Now it checks distance, and should be wholly reliable.
