Summary0009585: Phoenix Trees
DescriptionIn the "Phoenix Forest" area (previously known as "Forest Fire"), we would like each burned tree to reappear after a set time. (A very short time after any resulting money or health gems have disappeared.) The trees should still "look dead" as they reappear, which lends the notion that they are undead trees.

If the player is standing on a tree stump, its return is delayed. If the player becomes surrounded by dead trees (unlikely to happen by accident), the next wave of fire will set them free, unless they are impatient and take the poison pill.

Although there should already be fire in progress as the player enters the screen, there should be "guilty trees" that start new fires not long after some trees are renewed. In this way, we truly portray a perpetual fire across trees that don't stay consumed.

Was a cool idea, but the art never came and now we don't have time. It was a big superfluous, anyhow. :/
