| Description | This might be a setting issue, or I might just be mistaken in general. However, one of my AI homeworlds doesn't have a brutal pick. Here are the settings I have on. AI type in question: Mad Bomber Difficulty 7 All expansions disabled Options enabled: Random AI type revealed | ||||

"All expansions disabled" Well there's your problem. Without Light of the Spire or Ancient Shadows, the only brutal picks available are the Eyes. |

All right, I play with all expansions on so frequently that I couldn't remember whether the CPA post and the core raid engine were part of an expansion or not. Thanks! |

With all expansions off it actually treats neinzul cockroach spawners as an eligible brutal pick, too (though it can also pick them as non-brutal posts). Anyway, yea, without LotS or Ancient Shadows, the AI doesn't have toys quite that harsh. Partly because the player doesn't have a lot of toys, too ;) And if you have TZR and CoN off you don't get stuff like the cloaker starship or enclave starship, etc. |
