Summary0009662: Neinzul Rocketry Corps still firing missiles after no longer on alert from Warp Jammer
DescriptionThe planet containing a Neinzul Rocketry Corps is still firing missiles even though the planet is no longer on alert after building a Warp Jammer Command Station.

Steps to reproduce:
   1) Research the Warp Jammer Command Station
   2) Locate a system with a Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo that is not already on alert.
   3) Position a scout in the system with a Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo.
   4) Clear the AI out of a system adjacent to a system containing a Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo.
   5) Build a Warp Jammer Command Station in the system cleared out in step 4.
   6) Go to the galaxy map and mouse over the system containing the Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo.
   7) Observe in the information that pops up on the system that the AI is "Unaware of You".
   8) Click the system with the Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo and mouse over the Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo.
   9) With the game unpaused, observe that the BP continues to accumulate.
   10) Continue to observe the Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo, and the Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo will periodically launch missiles.

Additional Notes:
The attach saved game shows the above in effect. After loading the saved game, open the map. The lowest system we control, Icfall, has a Warp Jammer Command Station. The AI Controlled system directly below that is Diyaq, which contains the Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo.
Mousing over Diyaq will show the AI as "Unaware of You" due to the Warp Jammer. Entering Diyaq, you can see the BP accumulating at the Silo there and missiles will be periodically launched.

Resolution:
The Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo's description says "When the Silo's planet is on alert, it generates Lightning or EMP warheads"; however the planet is clearly not on alert.
Either the description should be updated to match how they actually function or the Neinzul Rocketry Corps Silo should cease to generate missiles once the planet it is on is no longer on alert.

just checking but you realize rocketry corp checks the adjacent planets for alert as well. so while the ai alert is off in the system its in, the ai is alerted in the system your wrap jammer is in so sets off the neinzul rocketry corp

That may very well be true but if that is the case, the description on the NRC should be updated. It currently says the following:

"When the Silo's planet is on alert, it generates Lightning or EMP warheads every quarter hour and sends them to nearby human planets."

not

"When the Silo's planet, or any adjacent planet, is on alert it generates Lightning or EMP warheads every quarter hour and sends them to nearby human planets."

It was rather annoying that we spent 5000 research on a Warp Jammer so we could remove the alert status on the Silo's planet to prevent it from firing missiles at us only to find it didn't do anything.
