Description | When scripted Willis travels across shallow water, there is no splashing sound effect. Perhaps this is because it's pre-loaded before all game functionality begins? (This holds true even in the ported version.) | ||||

The reason for this is that he isn't doing any collisions with tiles he's working on, and that's what triggers sound effects. |

Okay; I can use PLAYSOUND to achieve the desired effect. |

* Fixed the issue with foreground objects not causing sound effects for background tiles they walk over when they are being scripted by EXIT or MOVEFG. ** There is a chance that this may cause some occasional unintended side effects like a character or monster taking damage from something they pass over while being scripted, or something like that; if you run into that, please do let me know because it shouldn't be happening. From what I've tested thus far I think I got all of these cases. * Updated level 095-C to include better edges on the bottom part of the bridge. |

This sounds great -- I wasn't looking forward to looping a water sound effect for each of the kids' paths. :) Ah man, I had just removed those Exclude Organic Border tags because I thought it made the bridge look damaged. Guess you didn't like it. :) |
