Summary | 0009747: Impact for harmless tools
Description | When a sharp tool like the scythe is swung at a Gray (or a blunt object like either of the hammers) there should be a dull sound and/or a few milliseconds' delay of the Gray's movement. Just enough so that you can see that the tool hit the Gray and that it was ineffective, without any benefit for having done so. Right now the tool just goes right over their heads, which seems as though the tool is "buggy" when it's meant only to be harmless.

Good idea! Definitely feels much better this way. * When you strike a monster with a tool that can't hurt them (scythe, hammer, axe, etc), it previously was just swishing past the monster as if you missed, which was a minor bit confusing despite the tutorial text. ** Now the blade blocked sound effect is played instead, and the monster pauses for a very small bit of time to show that they were hit but it was ineffective. |
