Currently, if you _don't_ want your expensive unit to be repaired by a [mini]fort, MRS or Medic Frigate, you can just move one or the other away. I'd rather not have anything that requires me to mess with the CTRLs every time I want them to repair a golem. |

well yes, I know that and I do that when I can. But when I want to attack with my fleet and botnet (blobbing being the most effective way still in a lot of cases), the medic frigates start repairing the botnet and there is little I can do about it. I could just leave the botnet at home causing my fleet to die. I could just leave my fleet at home, possibly causing the botnet to die. I could just leave my medic frigs at home, but where's the point in that? I'd prefer having to mess with the controls just once and leave it, instead of micromanaging my botnet in each all-out fight more than I already do. If you want to repair golems, use engineers, they got a higher repair rate anyways. Medic frigates are more meant to keep your fleet lasting a bit longer when in battle, not to repair massive cost objects such as golems. That's what I think at least. Adding another controls option might not be the most elegant solution, but I don't know what else would be. |

Ah, and the question is whether to allow repair only assist stuff (forts, MRSs, Z medical frigates, etc) ignore the assist cutoff. In some cases you do, in others you don't. Tricky... |
