| Description | Small ship count (around 5 at Mk1), with modest weapons but a bubble forcefield. Matching the Vanguard's current "toughness boost after arriving", the Vanguard Shield Corvette gets a shield boost after arriving. If you don't like the idea of having 5+ small bubble shields running around, you could always make it a Frigate line instead. | ||||

Not really the kind of thing I have in mind or want for them. It doesn't really work with the Pulsar Tanks bonus, since the forcefields would halve their damage and they go together. Doing this'd also require changing the Hydras, then several AI ship groups would have less in them. This just sounds like a Forcefield Frigate change in the end. |
