Summary0008966: Make it easier to compare spells of different levels
DescriptionMaybe the panel should be changed to show e.g. "DPS against Level 3 monsters".

This would be useful for comparing an awesome T spell against a mediocre T+1 spell, and could help players understand what shielding/penetration really means.

Instead of "DPS against Level 3 Monsters", which doesn't make sense when you take into account elemental resistances and other possibilities, how about "Damage Against Level X Monsters" where X accounts for the level of the region you're currently in (or the continent level if in no region), and the number is a percentage of damage reduced by Level X's armour.

This could be in addition to the spell showing its Armour Penetration.

I'd like to note that to a new player there's no clear indication that spell damage is scaled like that at all--the game insists that you'll have a hard time if you don't have spells of at least the chunk level, but it doesn't actually say "spells do less damage against creatures of higher level than the spell" and just gives the impression that they're supposed to be statistically stronger (which isn't helped by the *incredibly minor* actual increase in spell damage) and that the difference is just that small.
